Newcomer Question on Alchemist Feats

Rules Questions

Hello! I recently talked to a friend who offered to get me and a few of my friends started on Pathfinder and I picked up a core rule book. I'm currently in the process of creating a Goblin Alchemist, Chirurgeon Archetype. I've been reading the Alchemist article. One thing I haven't figured out is whether or not Alchemist gain Feats or not, and if they do, at which levels. On the level table, only Discoveries are listed on odd levels, but I must have overlooked info regarding feats. If anyone could clear this up, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Also one more question. On the part about bomb, it states that "Drawing the components of, creating, and throwing a bomb requires a standard action that provokes an attack of opportunity." Does this mean that all of those actions are one standard action or each action is one standard action? Thanks again.

Everyone gets feats. You get one at every odd level, even level 1. You also get a discovery every even level as an alchemist. You may consider spending one of those odd level feats on the extra discovery feat, to get an extra discovery because discoveries can sometimes be way cooler than whatever a feat can give you.(seriously, you can grow wings and hands with discoveries. What's not to love?)

Its a standard action to do all of those things at once. At later levels you can take the fast bomb discovery as an alchemist, so you can make multiple attacks with bombs in a turn.

Thank you very much for clearing that up! Hopefully my alchemist won't blow himself up.

You are in for an interesting ride with that character for your first ever pathfinder game.

:)

eta:Not a bad thing, just a class with more *ahem* dynamic mechanics and interactions than most.
