i know it says "These abilities, called evolutions, can be changed whenever the summoner gains a new level, but they are otherwise set."

for example quadradpeds get free evos : bite, limbs (legs) (2).

can i get rid of the the bite or do i have to keep it ?

No, free evos are fixed. FOREVER(ominous voice - not angry)

The base evolutions are fixed... unless you're an Evolutionist. In which case you can change them by changing the base form. But even then, whatever base form you pick, comes with that fixed package.
