Broodmaster, is it effective?

Advice

Quite simply, I'm wondering how much experience people have had with this archetype. It does seem like it could take up a lot of time, and also would cut into the combat section of the Broodmaster.

You do get two Eidolons by default, but how effective are they as you go up in level? You do get more at certain breakpoints, but how do that work out?

Is the Broodmaster effective? No. That was easy.

For a little more perspective, let me ask you this question:

Which would you rather have in your party, a level 10 Fighter, or two level 5 Fighters?

It takes a lot of work and bogs down combat, I've found that they were quite good with Teamwork feats.

Works with what I call the 'Brood of the Blood God' build.

Combine half-orc blood god disciple with broodmaster and remember broodmaster does not force you to split them 50/50. Each level is different to optimise but about 80/20 is the average split.

Having a half-orc rampaging about with its '80' eidolon helping negate/providing flanks/rampaging while the '20' eidolon cleans up(or casts) and eats what you have slain.

For extra kicks if your going the bipedal eidolon you can also stack on the Shaitan binder archetype if you take racial heritage (oread)at 1st. Half-orcs qualify. It gives both some str boosts and free evolutions that easily make up for the split.
