Inappropriate-sized Weapon rules applying to items?

Rules Questions

This is a question that I pose with some of the silly gameplay mechanics our buddies have noticed when we played. I do ask this question for a (somewhat) official ruling on such a matter, though other insightful input/concern is also appreciated.

Say you're an adventuring party and you're out looking for a big creature tearing up the land (something like a giant or a dragon or some other Huge or larger creature) to stop its evil tyranny. You eventually come across this creature, and as battle ensues, the creature is getting bloody and significantly damaged. Now, this Huge-sized creature pulls out a potion (normally designed for Medium-sized humanoid creatures), which to them, looks like a little itty bitty 1 ml beaker, as a move action, drinks it for a standard action, and gets a fair portion of their health restored.

Now, I wasn't a player when this sort of situation happened, though the people I play with now had this happen before with the GM (whom we are still playing with), and while they didn't care as to how or why this little transparent turn of events occurred (they killed the creature anyway), it still does raise a question as to how it should've went down.

Here are my questions/concerns about the situation:

1. How the heck can a Huge-sized creature properly grab a tiny little beaker out of their standard backpack carrying all other sorts of things (or where could it even have came from if the creature has no backpack or similar storage)? (For the record, one could argue Handy Haversack, though since they didn't receive that as part of their loot, it doesn't apply.)
2. Assuming a Cure Serious +15 health potion (the strongest available), how is it that they can even use the tiny little beaker when they would probably miss putting it in their mouth or instantly crush it within their hands (or what constitutes as hands), unless they want to sit there and treat is as a little crunchy snack?
3. If the tiny little beaker did somehow manage to work, why is it that some Huge-sized creature didn't bother with some Huge-sized potion? (Another interesting factor, a Huge-sized Alchemist's Fire or Acid Flask would reign death upon a town.)

The question I would pose as a FAQ, is "Can a Huge-sized creature properly use items significantly under its size?"

I am sure you will postulate other concerns or questions, though these are the ones that strike me as of right now. Thoughts/Opinions? (And thanks in advance!)

Liberty's Edge

Close your eyes, click your heels three times, and say, "There's no place like Golarion."

It does seem a bit silly, doesn't it? Wouldn't it be great if 4 medium characters could share one huge potion?

I am reminded of this. If you can't make out what's happening, the huge creature (it's an orc, or used to be) has a bag full of healing potions. He hits -3, stays up because of ferocity, and simply eats a handful of them.
