Monster specific immunity to affects. .

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

In a game last night this question came up.

Half elf says in race description that they are treated as elf and human for affects. Does that include monster specific affects like a ghasts paralyze that specifically states Elves ignore.

I have seen this ruled 2 different ways by different PFS GMs. Both of which were great GMs, but is there official word out there on monster specific affects like that.

Lantern Lodge

Inasmuch as James Jacobs is an authority, half-elves are immune to ghoul paralysis due to their elven heritage, but ghast paralysis affects even elves.
