Special Attacks poison (Frequency 1 round [6], Effect 1 Con damage, Cure 1 save, Con-based DC)

What I'm wondering is, what does the six in the brackets refer to?

The poison affects the victim once per round for 6 rounds, doing 1 point of CON damage, and the victim will only need to make one Saving Throw to be cured of the poison (which ends the effect even if all 6 rounds have not been applied).
