I GMed my first session 2 Aug 2013. It is difficult to find complete information on the reporting process. I asked more experienced people, and the response I usually got was just report the session and send the chronicle sheets.
The problem came with reporting, it is not intuitive where to report. I didn't realize I had to actually create an event, when all I was doing was hosting a session online.
Once I figured that out, I only had 3 people report back to me on their PFS numbers. I thought this was the reason I couldn't save and complete the reporting process. Then I realized that after the error message, the date would be blanked out.
1. Make the error codes more specific. If the date is the problem, make sure it is mentioned as the problem.
2. Add an example of the date format (MM/DD/YYYY) next to the date field.
3. Mention somewhere that if someone fails to report their number in x length time, the GM should go ahead and report without that person.
I waited over 30 hours, mostly because of the above error, and waiting for a number that never came.
Better yet, make a training video and put it somewhere easy to find. And include the above information on the reporting form.
Thank you,
larwana

If you don't have their number, how are you filling in their chronicle sheet? I assume they want one of those. I've never had a problem with this.

There's no problem here, as you can go back and edit reported sessions, e.g. to correct errors, or add players for whom you were missing information.
