Whom to take to the Feast?

I’m not trying to elicit spoilers, but I would like some advice as I try to get my characters ready for Gen Con. I am signed up to play 5-03 “The Hellknight’s Feast” at the con, and as I read the blurb, it sounds to me like at least some of the characters that appeared in “The Blakros Matrimony” will be making a return appearance. My question is, “Is there a strong presumption that the character we took to the wedding will also be the character we take to the feast?

Unfortunately for me, my character who attended the wedding is still 4th level. If I am very deliberate about which of my characters I play in which games, I may be able to get him up to 5th in time. Is it worth the effort? Would I really regret using a different character for the feast after my 4th level character did so well making friends at the wedding?

I'm also signed up to play this at Gen Con (8am Thursday). The blurb for the scenario makes me think there will be some sort of bonuses to those who played through Blakros Matrimony, but that's just an unbased assumption. One things' for sure... I'm not bringing another Cha 8 character to a social gathering! Hahaha. Thankfully, my dancer is in range, so will likely play him. My character that attended the wedding is also out of tier...

Hi, Sior. I am making the same assumption. I'm playing the Feast on Saturday night as my way of avoiding Bonekeep pt. 2.

I don't believe GenCon's adventures have been released yet, however with the rest of the chain there was no assumption that you in particular had done the previous ones, just an interesting metaplot for you to discover as a player.

Judging by the adventure blurb I would imagine a similar style of adventure to the Blackros Matrimony however the author for that was Thursty, and the author of Hellknight's Feast is Tom Phillips who Top4ed in RPG Superstar, is the only only person in 2013 to have top 32d 3 consecutive times and wrote Fabric of Reality.

Also PFS adventures sometimes throw curveballs.

Ahoy, Captain Rob. I don't know if different authors makes much of a difference. I won't go into any major spoilers but

Spoiler:
Dennis Baker wrote a scenario which had a little something for characters who had played a scen from 2 seasons prior by Crystal Frasier.

Well, now that people have had a chance to read the adventure, can anyone answer the original question?

I don't see anything in the game that would lead me to think there is a presumption of that sort. I just wish I had had a chance to play it before I read it - it should be a lot of fun (except for a certain subset of characters who might not have as much fun).

The Year of the Demon email sent out by Paizo did imply that Andoran and Taldor factions have need of representation in that game.

I'm running it Thursday morning, afternoon, and Friday afternoon. It isn't presumed that characters also played Matrimony. You'll still want to bring a character who might have an interest in social aspects of politics. Pretty much what the blurb would suggest. :)

I'd love to play this with my sorcerer who attended the wedding. He got his Baron title from Taldor right before the wedding, and he's up to 22 charisma, I think.

Thanks for the responses Mike and Dhjika! Now that I know I have options, I'll have to give my selection some serious thought.
