Hey guys, Soon I'll be starting up a campaign with a relatively small group of people, However for the time being we're all close range or melee classes. Any long-ranged casters/Archers show up or even flyers I'm not sure if we'll be able to do anything about them. I'm playing a Two-Handed Fighter and my stats are as followed.
STR: 20
DEX: 14
CON: 14
INT: 10
WIS: 12
CHA: 7
Of course I can just pick up a bow but with a mere +2 to dex I doubt it'll be very effective. Any suggestions of how I can get ready to deal with long-range?

Doesn't your DM allow ranged Characters or casters, or do you mean, that you just don't want to play them?
But as a Fighter, invest 1-3 feats for a bow, let it be your 2nd Weapon of choice, so you get +hit and +damage for it. With full BAB you still hit - even with 14 DEX.
I would just do the Point Buy 25 (if thats Point Buy?):
STR: 18
DEX: 16
CON: 14
INT: 12
WIS: 12
CHA: 7
For 2-H-Fighting you do not need much feats. As Fighter you get much feats, so a few are easily taken for Utility, for example being an "ok" Archer. Read some guides/post about "Switch Hitter" or "Switch Hitting". It works, or let's say, it's realy effective on Fighters and Rangers.
Greets.
