Hello there rules gurus,
I've been lokking around but either was looking at the wrong places, or that question wasn't asked yet.
The Varisian Pilgrim's (cleric archetype from Inner Sea Magic; also known as Devout Pilgrim) 8th level class ability :
Blessing of the Harrow (Su):
At 8th level, once per day the pilgrim may perform a harrowing for herself or another creature. This is otherwise identical to the blessing of the harrow from the harrower prestige class (Inner Sea World Guide 276). This replaces an 8th-level domain power of the Varisian pilgrim’s choice.
While the ability itself isn't the problem - this power replaces an 8th-level domain power.
What, if both domains of the pilgim don't have a domain power at lvl8 (only at lvl4 or 6 of which there are enough) - as if I choose luck as the entry domain for the archetype (only 1st and 6th level domain power) and another domain, with no 8th level power.Do I have to erase a lower level power and wait until level 8 to get the blessing, can I decide to not take the blessing power at all?

If you don't have the class feature that's being replaced, you don't get the archetype. I'd rule that this is essentially restricting you to having at least one domain with an 8th level domain power, because otherwise you wouldn't have the class feature being replaced and the whole archetype would be invalid. That may not be the rules as intended, but that's how I'd read what's written.

Thanks a lot - I will take a little walk with my DM, because:

this seems correct to me, allthough I don't like it :-)
