Pit Spells affected by Widen Spell?

Are the Pit line of spell affected by Widen Spell and if so, do they create a 20'x20' pit or a 10'x20' pit?

Create Pit is not a burst, emanation or spread-shaped spell and thus does not qualify for the Widen Spell feat.
