Just a question here. One of our characters is a Gunslinger. He has several Feats that allow him to rapid reload his flint-lock pistol with one hand and fire in the same round. All fine and dandy, but is he also allowed to attack with the sword in his other hand. Seems kind of difficult to reload a muzzle-loader and then fire while sword-fighting with the other hand. Is there a rule to this?

Talking about Sword and Pistol? It doesn't allow you to reload without a free hand, nor does it allow you to reload without provoking. It only keeps you from provoking when you threaten a foe with a sword, so if you fire but a guy with a reach weapon is nearby he can still get an AoO on you. I've always thought it was a lackluster feat, because it doesn't help you reload or actually conquer most of the problems you have when you dual wield a sword and pistol.
If he wants to reload while dual wielding a sword and pistol, he can use weapon cords. Drop as a free, attack and reload as a free action with alchemical cartridges and rapid reload, recover as a swift. That's sort of silly though imo.
