We have an official answer on the Warslinger racial trait (http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1gh#v5748eaic9qus):
Halfling, Warslinger: What kind of slings does the this reload ability work with?
The warslinger ability says, "Halflings with this racial trait can reload a sling as a free action." It doesn't say "any type of sling" or "all slings," just "a sling." The ability only affects standard slings, not halfling sling staffs or any other kind of sling.
Before I go rebuild my warslinger, I wanted to confirm how this affects the following feats:
Ammo Drop
Benefit: You can load a sling or one end of a double sling with one hand as a swift action or move action. This does not provoke an attack of opportunity.
Juggle Load
Benefit: You can load a sling or double sling as a free action. This does not provoke attacks of opportunity. This feat allows you to fire your sling as many times in a full-attack action as you could attack if you were using a bow.
Based on the wording of these feats and the clarification in the FAQ, I'd have to say that these two feats would also not apply to the Halfling sling staff.
If the general consensus agrees with this interpretation, I won't bother asking for further clarification.

Correct. According to that FAQ entry, if it doesn't not specifically mention the halfling slingstaff, or somehow explicitly state that it works with all types of slings, it does not apply to the halfling slingstaff.
Since those two feats both explicitly state they work with slings and double slings, those are the only two items they work with.

So it looks like the only feats that will work with the sling staff are:
Arc Slinger:
Benefit: When using a sling or sling staff, you reduce your penalty on ranged attack rolls due to range by 2.[...]
Whip-Slinger
Benefit: When wielding a sling, double sling, or halfling sling staff, you threaten areas around you as normal[...]
Sling Flail and Prone Slinger would not apply to the sling staff, based on the FAQ.
What about Large Target?
The larger a creature is, the easier you find it to strike a vulnerable spot when attacking with a sling.
Prerequisites: Proficient with sling.
Benefit: Your attacks with all kinds of slings add a +1 bonus on damage rolls for every size category your opponent is larger than you. For example, if you are Small and your opponent Large (a difference of two sizes), you gain a +2 damage bonus. This is considered precision damage and is not multiplied on a critical hit.
Because this one says "all kinds of slings", I think it would apply to the sling staff. Does that seem right?
