I see several other threads in 'Rules' discussing the arrows so i am thinking they are, but want to confirm.

I have a few other questions if yes :-)

They are not, unfortunately. I used to think they were, because they were not called out, but Additional Resources lists what is legal from each book, and not what is banned.

ok well boo.....i was looking at the Dye arrow fondly.
how come the rules form and conversations on the trip arrow then ?

Because this is the Rules Forum, and not the Pathfinder Society Forum. People can use whatever they wish in their home games, but Pathfinder Society has its own Campaign setting, which has to be strictly regulated, and not everything is allowed.

ok, just find it odd, the variety of gun ammo is better than the variety of arrow ammo in PFS. strikes me as weird.

True, still adding these arrows would level the playing field between bow users and the over abundance of gunslingers swarming PFS currently.

The misfire chance does not compensate for the
1. Range touch to hit
2. Greater flexibility of ammo for gunslingers.

i am seeing ten to one gunslingers to bow users.

Makes me wonder why these are not allowed, they are not that bad. They look like fun adds to me.

Meh. I see more Zen Archers in my area than Gunslingers. But everyone's areas differ slightly. Archers have the same access to special materials that Gunslingers have. Gunslingers don't have access to any of the magical arrows that Archers do.

the only archer in my area is a zen archer, out of about 200 people. by contrast, we have around 40 gunslingers
