So I have played a few games, I have really begun to have fun with PFS. The more I learn about Pathfinder, the more I am encouraged to keep playing and learning more. I am enjoying this RPG. However, each time I learn something I am finding that my previous choices/decisions/purchases may not have been the most correct, or in some cases were illegal in PFS.
For instance: I purchased a Masterwork Quarterstaff after my first game -> what I now know is an illegal purchase. The Quarterstaff is a double weapon. "The masterwork quality adds 300 gp to the cost of a normal weapon. Adding the masterwork quality to a double weapon costs twice the normal increase (+600 gp)." - Ultimate Equiptment, Paizo 2012.
This After my first game I earned 2PP/Fame; to spend over 500gp, I needed 9PP/Fame.
This cost me 600gp, this was well out of my purchase range for a Fame of 2. I believe this purchase was illegal, Should I remove this and other illegal purchases I made in the past or continue using it since I now have 10PP/Fame?

Actually, a masterwork weapon is on the always available list. Masterwork and even +1 weapons and armor can be purchased as long as you have the gold. You're good to go! If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!

Always Available Items
You may always purchase the following items or equipment so long as you're in an appropriately sized settlement (see above).
- All basic armor, gear, items, and weapons from Chapter 6 of the Core Rulebook, including Small and Large-sized items. This does not include equipment made from dragonhide, but it does include equipment made from the other special materials, such as alchemical silver and cold iron (see the Special Materials section on page 154 of the Core Rulebook). All mundane (completely nonmagical) weapons, armor, equipment, and alchemical gear found in any other source that is legal for play are considered always available.
Masterwork weapons are considered always available.
As long as you purchased the quarterstaff for the correct amount (600 gp, since it's a double weapon), and/or corrected the amount on your next available chronicle sheet, you're good.
