Question about how stat blocks are shown in modules

In Blood for Blood

Spoiler:
Ameon Task is a 6th level fighter with his melee stats shown as +13/+8. But he has two weapon fighting. So why don't all 3 attacks display on the melee line?

I just wanted to confirm that stat blocks do not include feats -

I have to read through all of the feats to determine the number of attacks. I would think that would all be processed and included on the stat block.

...Which module is this?

EDIT: Ah nevermind. Just noticed the uncapitalized "blood for blood". Will look it up now.

Liberty's Edge

First, you should spoiler your text for those people who have not played this particular module.

There are some inconsistencies in how Paizo writes its stat blocks with regards to TWF characters. I do wonder if it depends on whether a character may use TWF as a tactic or if that character will use it as a tactic.

Does the character you mention have a second weapon listed with the same +13/+8 attack bonus? If so, double check that things add up properly with regards to STR, enhancement, BAB, equipment, etc. if that is the case, then I would assume that it is up to the GM to work the math if the character wants to TWF based on the situation.

Spoiler:
Ameon Trask's statblock (page 14) has "1 short sword +13/+8 (1d6+6/19–20), +1 short sword +13/+8 (1d6+5/19–20)" and Two-Weapon Fighting and Improved Two Weapon Fighting (you can find his feats in the next page where his statblock continues). This isn't in the statblock , but if he was to only make 1 attack (move + attack, charge, etc) then his +1 shortsword attack would be +15 (1d6+6/19-20). Most statblocks I've seen include 1-weapon attack modifiers and 2-weapon attack modifiers wnen two-weapon fighting is involved.

The two short sword attacks ARE his two-weapon fighting attacks. He has 4 attacks (2 attacks per weapon) due to Improved Two Weapon Fighting. His second shortsword should also be 1d6+6 though since he has Double Slice feat.

Thanks Protoman! Very helpful.

Protoman sounds right. In contrast, look at the Bestiary Erinyes. She has Rapid Shot and a BAB that grants two attacks total; yet her attack line is written with three attacks, automatically factoring in Rapid Shot.

Get to know your statblocks. Sometimes an enemy has something they should use almost all the time (it has one natural attack and Vital Strike) or is already using something you don't necessarily want (abilities with penalties, when your monster needs to maintain a high attack bonus). Statblock familiarity is good for running combat smoothly.
