Lesser Celestial Totem and Unusual Healing Effects

Would Lesser Celestial Totem work with Infernal Healing's Fast Healing effect as it is a Fast Healing ability granted by a spell? For that matter, does Lesser Celestial Totem trigger Fast Healer?

Probably not. The spell doesn't cure hit points, and the totem specifically doesn't work with fast healing.

Fast healers a little tougher. But I still lean toward no. The spell gives you the extraordinary ability of fast healing. Which is not magically healing.

From a GM perspective I could probably be talked around. As these don't seem abusively powerful to me (its a lot of healing, but a lot of investment too). But from a forum rules question I'd say no.

So no, it doesn't work with Infernal Healing.

Lesser Celestial totem also doesn't "trigger" Fast Healer since both effects add to the amount of damage healed by an initial healing effect. So getting a CLW would trigger both Lesser Celestial Totem and Fast Healer at the same time (making for a very effective CLW), but the extra healing from Lesser Celestial Totem doesn't give you the benefit of Fast Healing again.

I disagree with what Maezer said about Fast Healer and Infernal Healing not working together by RAW. Fast Healer works on both natural and magical healing and doesn't have the same "doesn't work with fast healing" restriction that the Lesser Celestial Totem does. Whether it should work that way - I'm not sure. You ought to get a pretty nice benefit for a three-feat investment, but I think this gives Infernal Healing just a touch too much potency compared to CLW - a little like what Dervish Dance does for the scimitar compared to the rapier in Dex builds.
