I'm a little confused about the wording of the maneuver monk'scspade Flurry of Maneuvers.

It says,
"Flurry of Maneuvers (Ex)

At 1st level, .... all combat maneuver checks suffer a –2 penalty when using a flurry.

At 8th level, a maneuver master may attempt a second additional combat maneuver, with an additional –3 penalty on combat maneuver checks.

At 15th level, a maneuver master may attempt a third additional combat maneuver, with an additional –7 penalty on combat maneuver checks."

I'm not sure how to interpret this.
Do they mean that the penalty to hit for a 15th level FoM would be -7 for all maneuvers, or do they mean that the penalty would be -12 to hit (a cumulative -2, -3, and -7) for all maneuvers?

The text says, "an additional -x to maneuver checks," but I'm having trouble believing that they'd actually give you a -12 to hit.

As I'm reading this a full flurry of trip attacks, for example, at level 15 with no bonus for strength or anything would be made at:

-1, -6, -11, -3, -3, -3.
That can't be right....
