Feral Child Druid archetype

Rules Questions

Silver Crusade

Does a Feral Child Druid need to take a rank in Linguistics to cast spells with verbal components?

I'm asking because I'm considering building one and I wanted to make sure before I finished the character creation.

Shadow Lodge

No. Your illiteracy takes away your ability to speak Druidic (and read and write, and learn Sylvan as a racial bonus), not your ability to verbalize incantations.

Silver Crusade

Oh damn I read that wrong. I thought you couldn't speak at all. That makes a lot more sense. Now I'm totally picturing a cave man druid with a dinosaur pet (cliche, I know, but I don't care). He gets the mission briefing from the VC, looks at it, and hands it to one of his party members saying, "What dis say?" Wears hide armor and uses a club and spears as weapons.

Now if I only knew how to build a druid...

Shadow Lodge

Guide 1. Guide 2.

Silver Crusade

Yeah, I saw the guides but none of them mention the Feral Child archetype. I would guess that with no Wild Shape, I'd be looking at playing more of a caster druid and selecting an animal companion that can help to keep me alive. Probably also looking at getting Augment Summoning and pumping out SNA spells in combat.
