Making a Shapechanger - Using Sorcerer Builds

Advice

I am looking at making a Shapechanger with a Sorcerer Build for 12th Level

I am looking at 2 buids -
The First is a Sorcerer 5/Dragon Disciple 7
20 PB Human - Str 16, Dex 13, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 10, Cha 15 (+2 Human)

or

The Second is Sorcerer 12 (Wildblooded Sylvan + Boon Companion Feat)
20 PB Human - Str 10, Dex 14, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 10, Cha 18 (+2 Human)
And transforming my pet instead. T-Rex Companion

What are your thoughts, and with transformation spells what happens to persons gear if the grow larger.

Does it disappear into the form, or does it grow larger?

With the T-Rex, if I were to change it into an Earth Elemental would it still have its bite attack?

The magic chapter in the core book covers this pretty well, there is a big section on polymorph. It's probably best if you read that then ask questions.

Thanks I should have looked it has answered many of my questions, and the Sorceror / Dragon Disciple will most likely be my build now.

Just need to figure out which monstrous humanoids to use now.

Here's a decent guide someone put together on Poly spells which will likely help you out.
