I'm planning ahead for how I'll run book 5 of Reign of Winter (so mild spoilers below)
In that book the BBEG has access to Miracle, which can be used to cast Simulacrum (among many many other options).
Could you create a Simulacrum of a swarm or the new creature type introduced in the AP, a troop?
(mechanically I think a swarm or a troop counts as a "single creature" so i should technically be possible I think) but I'm less clear if it is RAI nor am I clear if Simulacrum creates the default equipment for creatures that use equipment (i.e. whose stat block assume equipment of some form).
(there are a lot of other great options for this BBEG to create simulacrum of so not sure if this is a tactic I will use, just checking if it mechanically would be feasible)
