So, what happens when a Bladebound Magus loses his Black Blade?
1) Does he "summon" a new one?
2) Does he "attune" himself to a new weapon?
3) Does it cost him anything?
4) Can the weapon be a blade that is already magical?
5) Does it need to be appropriately sized?
6) Can it be a bonded object, like an Arcane Bond weapon?
You mean lose, as in "I dropped it somewhere, I dunno.", or "It broke"?
If the former, he needs to track it down. If he can get in a mile of where he dropped it or who stole it, and he's above 9th level he can just teleport it to him.
If the latter: "If broken, the black blade is unconscious and powerless until repaired. If destroyed, the black blade can be reforged 1 week later through a special ritual that costs 200 gp per magus level. The ritual takes 24 hours to complete."
Losing it in either sense sucks diseased moose wang for the Magus in question.
As for 5.), it needs to be a one-handed slashing weapon, which I take to mean one-handed in both category and use. Therefore no Large Light weapons or anything like that. But that may not be RAW.
6.) I think so. There's no limitation on exactly WHAT weapon becomes/is the Black Blade.

"Reforged" in this case means "New sword, old personality".
It's magic. Doesn't need to be logical.
