Hello imaginary friends,
What's the name of the river that passes through Lurkwood and then feeds into the Velashu River? Is it also the Velashu River, or does it have a different name (such as the ever-so-clever title, "Lurkwood River")? And if there is already a name somewhere, could you cite the source material as well?
Thanks much,
Zachary

Definitely not the Ooze "river", which is over in Urglin and is probably slowly becoming a marsh thanks to their lack of civil engineering.
Other potential names: Red (complete with song, Red River Valley), Wormwood, Nolander, Cold, Glassknife (so named because of the narrow cut, depth, swiftness, and clarity, as well as the local glassknife eels with the same characteristics) (okay, I made up everything about that one)... or, as happens in Earth, it might have different names from different cultures or periods of history. Just wondering if there are any references to it.
However it is, I'm DMing Rise of the Runelords, and after Runeforge the party wanted to get back to Riddleport. Down-river travel with a nearly straight shot is definitely faster than horseback at odd angles. As a bonus, they ended up in Lurkwood on Merrymead.
