Casting using the Metamagic feat quicken spell

Rules Questions

Hello here is my question I have just rested and a new day dawns I select my spells for the day I take a 5th level spell slot and use my feat to change a first level spell from a standard action to a swift action. My circle of power is 10th My question is this, "Would I be able to cast my first level spell that is now a swift action, and then cast a third level fireball which is a standard in the same round?" Would I still be able to take a move action? or would this spell casting count as a full round action? In truth can a spell caster get more than one spell off in a round...like a fighter gets multiple attacks in a round?

Yes, Yes, yes, no.

The whole purpose of quicken is to let you cast two spells in a round. Might want to check out the idea of using a Metamagic Rod of quicken.

with a rod how many spells can you cast in a round?

A quickened spell is a swift action, and you only have one swift action per turn. Also, it is explicitly stated in the combat rules that you can only cast one quickened spell per turn. (Bit redundant).

While the combat section has a sidenote about quickened spells saying they are an exception to only being able to cast one spell per turn, I don't actually see that restriction anywhere else. Might be an artifact (or I missed it).

If you had a spell that took a move action, I think you could cast a swift, move, and standard action spells in one round. Not sure if any spells have a move action cast time. I know that there are spells like Flaming Sphere that let you adjust a spell spending a move action.
