Kobolds of Golarion- Coloration section

I am curious about the section on Kobold coloration. It lists some traits, but doesn't say how one would acquire such traits.

Any thoughts?

Like all traits, the ones listed in the Coloration section of Kobolds of Golarion are available to any qualifying character at 1st level. These traits must be selected at character creation and cannot be changed thereafter. Since the traits in this section are race traits, only kobold characters may select them during character creation.

The rules for traits first appeared in the Pathfinder RPG Advanced Player's Guide.

Oh ok. It wasn't clear. My confusion I guess was since the bonuses didn't say 'trait bonus' like other traits do.

Ah! That is an error. All of the bonuses granted by these traits should be trait bonuses.
