How do you qualify for a Torchbearer archetype if you're not a torchbearer?

Herolab insists you take the Torch Handling feat

The book doesn't say otherwise, so it seems like simply being a ranger would be sufficient.

I suppose it's possible that the section intended for those archetypes to only be available to torchbearers and others with the Torch Handling feat, but the book doesn't say so.
