Quick Rules Question.
Situation: I am about to have enough GM Credit to have an unplayed level 5 character. I am thinking about doing a Shapeshifter Half Orc Ranger, with the following feats: Sympathetic Rage, Power Attack, and Boon Companion, With a Wolverine companion. My question is can I sympathetic Rage off of my Wolverine's Rage?

Liberty's Edge

Sympathetic Rage Source ARG
Prerequisites: Half-orc or orc, nonlawful.

Benefit: Whenever you are adjacent to an ally who is raging, you may choose to enter a similar but less powerful rage as a free action on your turn. This weaker rage gives you all the benefits and penalties of a barbarian's rage, except your morale bonus to Strength and Constitution is only +2. There is no limit to how long you can rage, as long as you remain adjacent to a raging ally (for example, you could take a 5-foot step away from one raging ally toward another raging ally and maintain your rage). As with a barbarian's rage, when this weaker rage ends, you are fatigued. You cannot use this feat if you are fatigued.

No, sympathetic rage requires your partner in rage to be an orc or half orc.

Liberty's Edge

It does not state that within the feat text, Where is this information coming from?

To be a little more clear. Sympathetic Rage is a Teamwork feat. It requires at least two people to have the same teamwork feat. Your wolverine could not take the feat because he is not an orc or half orc

Liberty's Edge

It is not a teamwork feat I've checked in Herolab, the official PDF of the ARG, and with the PFSRD. It is a Racial,Combat feat that does not require the raging ally to have the feat.

I apologize. I just looked it up. I have confused the feat your are talking about with amplified rage, which is a teamwork feat.

Accordingly, I now believe that you have a legit combination.

Badger

Starting Statistics

Size Small; Speed 30 ft., burrow 10 ft., climb 10 ft.; AC +2 natural armor; Attack bite (1d4), 2 claws (1d3); Ability Scores Str 10, Dex 17, Con 15, Int 2, Wis 12, Cha 10; Special Attacks rage (as a barbarian, 6 rounds per day); Special Qualities low-light vision, scent.

I even see that the badger aka (wolverine) says that they rage like a barbarian, so no worry about anyone saying that the wolverine's type of rage does not qualify.

Verry nice idea to get the sympatic Rage bonus from a pet! Espacilly in the lower levels it´s a nice idea.

Are there other pet´s, mounts or animal companions with the (blood) rage ability?

This is very clever sir. I love it. And it is 1005 legit as far as I can tell. Bravo and maybe let us know how it goes in the future.

You could also use a Wild Stalker ranger and have your own rage to boot... making it +6/6.

Liberty's Edge

Wild stalker gives up the same thing as the shapeshifter, so I cant do that because I'm doing the shape shifter

No it doesn't. One does Favored enemy, one does favored terrain.
