Item quandary for Hospitaler Paladin

Advice

In an ideal world my Hospitaler Paladin would like a Phylactery of Positive Channeling and a Headband of Alluring Charisma. Unfortunately they're both headbands, so that's not possible. Are there any other ways of getting both bonuses? I noticed there is a rod of splendor but that's on the pricy side.

This is for a home campaign and 3.0/3.5 material is allowed although pathfinder material preferred.

Thanks!

Combine the two items into one. The cheaper one costs +50% more.

Alternatively, put one of them into a Ring, which can accept an item from any slot.

IIRC, phylacteries were often worn on the upper arm. Change the item slot to wrist/arm.

As long as you don't mind sticking to no more than +2 Charisma, you could purchase a Pink and Green Ioun Stone; its about twice as expensive as the headband, but its a possible solution.

Hm, the Ioun stone is a possibility until I can afford something more expensive. I'll ask the DM about a custom item too, I like the idea of it being on the wrist/arm instead.
