Barbarian rage power question

Can a level 1 barbarian take the Extra Rage Power feat with one of their level 1 feats? The only pre-requisite for the feat is "rage power class feature". Do barbarians have the rage power clas feature from character inception, or not until level 2?

Not until level 2. Works the same way with all the other "make an extra class choice" powers like Extra Rogue Talent, Extra Discovery, Extra Mercy, etc. You have to get to a level where you get the first power of that type before you can pick up other ones.

Note that this is a problem for archetypes that swap out the first instance of that ability - it also delays access to the Extra Whatever feat.

Yeah, I was looking at building a natural attacking barbarian, but I didn't want to wait until 3rd level for either claws or the Superstition rage power. Oh well, I guess Superstition will have to be put off for a level.
