Multiple prestige classes

I just want to check, is there anything that says players can't have more than 1 prestige class?

No. You can have as many as you want as long as you meet the requirements.

Indeed. You can multi-class and take prestige classes you qualify for to your heart's content. Your character might become a mess in the end of course.
