Robotjunk is hosting a Kickstarter project to get their miniatures and gaming system funded. It has met it's goal of $6000 but like other KS projects the more funds that are pledged the better the rewards.
If you recently backed the Dwarven Forge, Itar's Workshop, Dungeonstone and other 3D terrain projects, you will want to check out the WOD kickstarter and the fantastic miniatures that they offer.

I'm currently pledged for the Lavagon and may add more arches. They are looking into sculpting traps as well - so looking forward to their next updates.

Yeah, the traps sound intriguing. I know there hasn't been any with either Dwarven Forge or Itar's Workshop.... perhaps this is the place to find them?
What sort of traps would you like?
The vendor was asking for potential ideas on traps we would like to see created and this is what I posted;
Floor tile simulating a Pit Trap - option for various pointy hazards & poisonous reptiles
Plant / Vine Traps - poisons, trips or entangles opponent(s)
Elemental Traps - Wall of Fire, Ice Block, Lightning Storm, Earth Cave-in or Mudslide, Cyclone that disorients opponents or throws them to another part of the game board. Pillar of Flame from floor.
Oldies but Goodies - Swinging Pendulum, Bear trap, Arrows/Darts, Falling Block, & Monstrous Claws / Hands / Tendrils protruding from floor.
Just a thought, but the Archways could have the potential to be trapped with any of the suggestions above.
This is a fantastic-looking Kickstarter, Dyrewolff--thank you for sharing!
In the event you don't get some of your requests for traps, keep in mind that the old Mage Knight Dungeon and Artifacts packs contain a lot of the items on your wish list. Here's a pic of the trap lot. It has a really nifty cage you can put around most medium-sized minis, an acid pool, a saw blade slicing through the floor, bloody spikes, jetting flames, a heavy spiked iron deadfall, a demonic hand rising from the floor, and a crazy clockwork bladed contraption. Here's one on eBay. I recall one of the other Dungeon Packs has a cool throne that, I think, is trapped, as well as another swinging pendulum device.
I think there's a WotC bear trap-looking mini, too, and for other things sprouting from the floor, check out Dungeon Crawler minis right here on Paizo.com!
Just some suggestions in case none of those requested styles pop up on this project. =-)
Many thanks Brandon for your suggestions on traps. I have been in search of the MK artifacts trap pack but those I have manage to find are way too pricey for my taste. I have been using papercraft traps from Fat Dragon Games and they've worked pretty well.
One of the pledgers for this Kickstarter worked for Mage Knight Games, so it's a big plus to have him backing the project.
I cannot wait to see what they come up with next for the traps... OF course, the game itself looks like it'll be a ton of fun. And I'm a bit worried that we are getting too much free stuff. Well with some luck they'll be an influx of backers to give good economy of scale.
I agree with you DSXMachina. Free stuff is always nice but this Kickstarter project sells itself and doesn't need all the fluff. I too am looking forward to what they come up for traps. If it's anything like their minis, these traps will ROCK!

ME: These trap minis will rival those that are currently out on the market.
Potential KS Backer: But Dyrewolff, trap miniatures are scarce unless you get lucky on Ebay or a miniature vendor has them in stock, but the prices can be astronomical!
ME: What??!! You're telling me that there are no trap miniatures unless you fork over lots of MOOLAH!! I call Shenanigans!!
Potential KS Backer: I know and I refuse to taint my DF, IW, Dungeonstone, Fat Dragon Games, and ???(any other 3D dungeon vendors) with cheap cardboard tokens. My players don't check for traps anymore since they know this!! What am I to do??
ME: Dry your eyes Potential KS Backer . Have I got a solution for you! Check out the Warriors of Darkmyer Kickstarter site and read about the they are creating and at an affordable cost.

Wow, now there are some mini's only levels - for those that only wish to have the excellently crafted miniatures.
$70 for 12, $100 for 18 or even $150 for 30.
For 32mm heroic scale metal miniatures that's really quite good.
Will they be selling the traps as an add-on?

@danielc - I believe they are looking at making them add-ons once we hit the 14k stretch goal. Kickstarter did an update on their servers and wiped out all the new changes that JunkRobot had made.
From her notes they had two moldings made from clear resin. An acid floor trap and the other a standing firewall.
Additional pictures of current traps available. I will continue to update my Gdrive with new ones as the are developed.
Thanks for that Dyrewolff, I am really looking forward to these - although the gameplay and amazing miniatures really peak my interest. Plus the $50 complete game price-point really whets the appetite
That spring trap is lovely and hilarious. The Bear claw trap is nice, a touch big for a simple trap... maybe. But probably good sized for actual miniature use.
I had an evil thought to put two of the Spring Traps on opposite walls facing each other and when a player sets it off, they become a living pinball!
What's this?? Even more traps!
Or you could have a spring trap in a lift shaft that smooshes the PC's against the ceiling. :P
@DSXMachina - you sir are a wild man! I would constantly be on my toes if I played in any of your adventures.
Ok, so the game doesn't interest you, you're so-so on the miniatures, the archways and traps sparked a little interest, so how about...
Darkmyer Pillars of Death!! Yes, even pillars can look sexy! WOD Pillars
Yep, you would Dyrewolff - I've learnt from an amazing GM.
Those pillars would be brilliant for Kingdom Death, or PF - I could just imagine an innocent strapped to it to lure the monster in.... before grabbing their weapon, raging and confronting the beast.
Then again the portals are fun too.

Yeah, the signing on a friend bonus is amazing. And I'm sure Dyrewolff (or I) wouldn't mind you referring us :P
There are some nice models in that, but too many women in bikini armour for me to find much use. Still, look forward to picking up some of the models individually.
Generally it's the mini's on the left, that are specifically crafted for this game/project - whilst the "Dark Pool 2" (Damsels of Darkmyre) has been opened up for backers too.
There are a few mini levels that are available, at near cost.
The Damsels of Darkmyre will fill the ranks of my He-Woman, Man Hater Amazon clan in the campaign I'm running, even the women in my group want to use them for their characters. Told them that they would have to paint them though...
As far as the sign a friend trap offer goes I would be fine if you wanted to use me as a referral, heck even DSXMachina wouldn't mind. LOL
One of the major concerns with those, including myself, who spent lots of $$ on the Dwarven Forge games tiles KS, was "Will the WOD traps & items offered be compatible with the DF dungeons?"

Not winding down, but kicking into gear as it nears the final few days. Yep that host of traps look amazing, lots of different options.
Plus a nice range of mini's, true half are the kick-arse females from the last KS. However there's a host of interesting new mini's with a very intriguing take upon the various classes/races.
The game itself, looks like it could have significant RP elements. Heck with the new tunnels and tiles stretch it reminds me of Advanced Heroquest; or a smash open the door D&D game.
Down to the final 48 hours with more traps revealed and A female Cyclops model as well.
