finding the right god for a player

Advice

I have a player who is less than enthused with Golarion's gods. I don't particularly want to use 3rd party gods.

He seems to want a god of vengence, a god like Old Testament god, who will smite entire cities for them being sinful.

I suggested Callistra but he didn't like the lust aspect. Iomedae doesn't seem like she would go that far. I know there's a lot of pathfinder gods out there. Somebody hook me up?

What kind of character is he playing??

for a good character you could check champions of purity for a lot of angels/azata's/... that each have their own domains

for an evil character different books of the damned might offer a solution

Silver Crusade

I would suggest the Infernal Lord of Teddy Bears, Chubbs McGee, but he would probably lack the stuffing to survive the cuddles!

What about Abadar or an aspect of that deity?

Maybe Torag?

He doesn't do mindless destruction but the whole "he finds forgiveness as sign of weakness, and stupid to boot" thing might be right up your player's alley.

Grand Lodge

He might find several options among the dwarven gods, or Iomedae.

Shadow Lodge RPG Superstar 2010 Top 8

Ragathiel has kind of an old-testament vengeance feel to him.

Liberty's Edge

Ragathiel too IMO.

Also, a worshipper does not need to venerate every aspect of hid deity. He could focus on Calistria's vengeful aspect and just mostly ignore the lustful aspect.

Silver Crusade

Damerrich, LG Empyrean Lord of executions, judiciousness, and responsibility.

Found in Chronicle of the Righteous.

Scarab Sages

Dranngvit, Dwarven deity of Vengeance.
