Hey there everyone!
I am going to be playing an Armored Hulk Half-Orc and I want to see what people's opinions are on building an awesome character that still fits the visual and roleplaying concept I have for him!
Ragar Wartusk is a Chaotic Good Barbarian of Gorum. He is a gigantic, ugly, and frightening "4/5th Orc", standing at 6'8 and over 400lbs at the age of 15. I see him as this unusually jovial man most of the time and being an absolute nightmare in combat. I want him to specialize in sundering combat with an adamantine greatsword, being able to use Intimidating Prowress and other intimidate abilities in combat, and being impossible to kill due to his toughness (high HP, high DR). My fellow players and I used the Ultimate Campaign background generator and I got this traits and these story feats available to me.
Traits:
- Kin Guardian
- Bastard
- Poverty Stricken
- Resilient
- Reactionary
- Scholar of the Great Beyond
- Scrapper
- Surface Stranger
- Veteran of Battle
Story Feat Options:
- Shamed
- Unforgotten
His attributes are as follow:
STR: 17
DEX: 14
CON: 18
INT: 15
WIS: 14
CHA: 11
For those curious of what I exactly rolled for my background:
Home: Subterranean (Scrapper & Surface Stranger)
Parents: Father Is Alive
Sibling: 3 Sisters (2 Younger, 1 Fraternal) 1 Brother (Younger)
C.O.B.: Bastard Born (Bastard & Shameful Story Feat)
Profession: Peasants (Poverty Stricken)
M.C.E.: Major Diseaster (Resilient & Unforgotten story feat)
Barbarian: One Of A Dying Breed (Reactionary)
Influence: The Seer (Scholar of the Great Beyond)
Conflict: Murder (+8 CP)
Subject: Adventurer
Motive: Love (+1 CP)
Resolution: Secret Regret (- 1CP)
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Religion: Gorum (Veteran of Battle)
Romance: One Significant Relationship
Drawback: Justice (Headstrong)
The campaign takes place in a wilderness adventure to start, where we will be exploring and creating businesses in the frontier town of this wilderness, eventually leading to kingdom running. I'm not sure the climate right now but I will edit it in when I know. The rest of my group is a Dwarven Musket Master, a Gnome Rogue, and an Elven Cleric of Desna. We have two more players, probably an Arcane Archer and a Bard or Ranger.
I know some of the stuff isn't optimal but I want to be as effective as possible, get my style of combat going, and keep all the roleplay aspects of this jovial, headstrong 15 year old orc who is impulsively good.
Thank you all for the help and time, I look forward to seeing the suggestions :)
