Hey all,
I've been asked to run the beginner box as an intro to PFS for a group of newbies but I'm wondering how do I enter it as an event?
I am looking to enter it on my sessions list but I can't find the option to do so. I'm sure I'm just blind but any direction would be appreciated!
Also, someone here would know, how can I obtain a few blank membership numbers that my friends can fill out tomorrow without making them do it all online ahead of time?
I'd like to just do it with them and go!
Thanks!

For this, click on the PFS logo on the left side of the paizo page, then at the top banner click "My Pathfinder Society", then the tab called "GM/Event Coordinator".
At the bottom of that page, there should be a button saying "Reserve 10 Pathfinder society cards" that should generate 10 numbers you can take to the to use.

Bear in mind that there are no chronicles for playing Beginner Box games; the only ones available in the past were at a special launch event.
The only reportable Beginner Box-related adventure/event is the Kid's Track, and that's only to record it for GM credit. Unless you're running that, there's no requirement to set up a PFS event at all.

Easiest way... hook up with your local venture captain or lieutennat. He or she might have a few to spare.

Thanks everyone for your input! Creating the event was the key to getting the cards.
The players don't need chronicle sheets, but I was hoping they'd get an XP. Is it not reportable for players, only for GMs?
I will probably just do the beginner box and then do the intros with them after they've created full characters. Thanks!

Email Mike.Brock@Paizo.com with your plans, and what you think your number of players will be. It is possible he is still able to give access to the Beginner Box Bash material that was written for the launch of the box (and worked very well for introducing people to the Society). The boons that went with the event are no longer valid, but that doesn't mean the event can't be run.
CRobledo has given you the method to get 10 PFS numbers. If you will need more than that, you just need to email Mike Brock.

The only way to get an XP is with a chronicle sheet, and there aren't any chronicles for the BB. The only exception is the boon Drogon refers to above that may be available in special cases, but these give 0 XP.
The only reason for a GM to report is to get one 'point' towards their GM stars.

GMs can get credit for running the Beginner Box Demos (the four 1-hour adventures that were part of the Beginner Box Bash and have been incorporated into the Kids Track event).
There is currently a bug in the Event reporting system so you can not check the box for any modules or special events, but if you create an event and then report it and click "Show All Scenarios" the drop down list includes a selection for:
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Beginner Box Bash Demos (OGL)
To get GM credit you must run all four Demos. When you report the event, you do not need to list any players.
