What next?

I have recently finished reading RotRL AE, and had a great time doing it. Maybe, hopefully it will be as much fun to run as it was to read. I loved learning about Varisia, Thassilon, and the like. Would you be able to recommend a new product to buy/read that can add to this experience?

I prefer pdf, and already have the Inner Sea book. I have read a number of different play diaries for RotRL, and that's pretty much just making me more impatient for our once-weekly play sessions.

So... any ideas?

Varisia, Birthplace of Legends would be a great start, for more material. Also, look into the Shattered Star Adventure Path, which is sort of a sequel to RotRL.

I feel compelled to post whenever I see Lamontius, now.

I think this question comes up quite often (i.e. where can I learn more about Varisia?).

Short list, off the top of my head:

* Curse of the Crimson Throne AP (for good stuff about Korvosa, Shoanti, and more)

* Second Darkness AP (early volumes, for good stuff about Riddleport and cyphermages)

* The Kaer Maga book

* The module, Murder's Mark, for the town of Ilsurian in Varisia

* Blood of the City (a book set in Magnimar)

* Various PFS scenarios, set in Varisia

... I'm sure there's plenty more, too.

City of Monuments (the Magnimar book) is solid gold.

Also, I've ended up using the back matter from the first Pathfinder comic a surprisingly large amount. It's a description of Sandpoint boiled down well for players and a good map of the town.
