Allosaurus Companion

Silver Crusade

So according to the SRD, which is unofficial, it lists the medium/younger allosaurus's claws as a secondary attack, then its a primary at 7th level (when it advances). This is not listed in the PRD (which is the official source).

Is this a typo in the srd, or am I just missing something because I have not actually referenced the beastiary 2?

Claws are not secondary natural attacks as a general rule and the PRD is official, so the SRD must be a typo.

Here is what Paizo says,

Quote:

Allosaurus Companions

Starting Statistics: Size Medium, Speed 40 ft.; AC +4 natural armor; Attack bite (1d6), 2 claws (1d4); Ability Scores Str 14, Dex 16, Con 10, Int 2, Wis 15, Cha 10; Special Qualities low-light vision, scent.

7th-Level Advancement: Size Large; AC +2 natural armor; Attack bite (1d8), 2 claws (1d6); Ability Scores Str +8, Dex –2, Con +4; Special Qualities grab, pounce.

So according to Paizo you only get 2 claw attacks not four.

Further, the talon only connects on the non-companion version as a rake on the Paizo site. You do not gain the rake with the companion at medium or large size.
