Ok... so I feel like we need to share this with all of you.
We’ve been working on a book called, “Heroes of the West” for a while now (few months). It’s along the same vein as our “Heroes of the East” line. We used the same artist, Marcus, as we did for Heroes of the East 2. He blew us away with awesome almost sumi-e style artwork for that book so we put him on Heroes of the West because of that. Let me tell you- he did not disappoint us.
I wish I could show you guys a super-high rez version of this picture but even a lower resolutions it is just gorgeous. <3
On June 1st we will be releasing Heroes of the West with three BEAUTIFUL paintings from Marcus (Spirit Walker, Painted Rider, and Jaguar Warrior). It covers north & south american characters, including the Brave base class. I really hope you guys will join us in exploring the Wild West as it was meant to be!
Included:
+3 example cultural variants (Eagle Warriors, Koa Warriors, Dog Soldiers)
+Guidelines for making your own variants
+Order of the Nomadic Warrior

So this is a direct quote from one of our external reviewers who just read the doc,
"You have no idea how long I've been dying to do a western RPG. This is badass. Scott you have read my mind, this is exactly the rule book I've been dreaming of writing. Man you have no idea how long I've been dying to do a Lone Ranger-style campaign. YEARS man, YEARS."

We focused a lot on the Great Planes Indians post adoption of the horse (So like Blackfoot, Cheyenne, Comanche, Crow, Kiowa, and Lakota & Yankton Sioux) but as this is a fantasy book we don't want to focus on a particular real world culture. For example: We have gunstock clubs and riding clubs while on the other hand we took a stab a brave base class that involves counting coup as a core mechanic. (We didn't feel it could be done justice as a "barbarian" alternate... which might also have been a bit insulting. We have far to much respect for that lol)

@Odraude
Well, if this book sells well enough we will defiantly continue onward with more. We kept on doing Heroes of the East because people liked them We did HoE I, II, and III is coming soon + an eastern setting. Same with out Legendary levels line.
If we do however we would love to explore something like that.
