Trait - Bent body

Rules Questions

So, looking at the trait Bent Body (rakshasa-spawn) it is very nice for my tetori monk (oni-spawn). Now I have two questions:
a) as it is a race trait, can I take it with adopted? Think so yes, but just to clarify.
b) does it also apply if someone wants to escape a grapple? It reads to be applied against resisting grapple attempts, again I would say, just to clarify.
Thanks!

a) Yes. Unsure if this is PFS legal though double checking the doc wouldn't hurt.
b) No. Only provides a bonus to CMD to resist grapples not "and CMB to escape grapples" which is how other similar abilities would be worded.

I meant does it provide a bonus to my CMD if someone wants to escape my grapple? As break-free attempt goes vs. my CMD - just want to know if that gets harder with the trait as well.
For sure it hasn't affect on my CMB, I see that.

I would still say no since it is to resist grapples. So it would count if your opponent tries to reverse your grapple but not if they try to escape.
