Hello. I'm making a synthesist starting at level 6. I'm a half elf, so I have 10 evolution points. What would you do with them? I'm new at this, and I want opinions. I was thinking improved natural armor, flight with a speed bonus, two pairs of arms, and a ability boost for strength. I was thing about using a biped form with a katana in each hand. With my strength score of 20 and arcane strike, if all 6 katanas hit it would deal 6d8+42 points of damage. I'm new, so I don't know if I made a mistake. Did I? Does this seem good?

Your math is correct, but you'll take a hefty penalty to hit until you have Multiweapon Fighting. Easiest way to negate this is to two-hand the katanas, since multi-weapon fighting penalties don't apply to weapons held in two hands (if i recall correctly). Look into getting power attack and your attacks should look something like this: 3d12+45 (1+1/2 str is 7, plus 6 from power attack, plus 2 from arcane strike if i remember correctly). it's only a -2 penalty to hit when compared to the giant penalty for multi-weapon fighting with katanas

I will comment on the katanas only.
1. Even with multi-weapon fighting you're at a -4 penalty to all attacks. (off hand weapon is not light.)
2. Only 1/2 strength bonus to off hand attacks unless you have double slice. You will need twf in addition to multi-weapon fighting to meet the prereqs. Not possible at 6th level as it requires 4 feats and you have only 3.
3. Watch your WBL. Gearing up a large number of melee weapons is very inefficient.
4. You will need a free hand for casting.

You can hold a two weapon hand in one hand. you can let go or grab a weapon with one hand as a free action. you get unlimited free actions in a round. See where this is going?
Luckily for you TWF becomes Multiweapon fighting as soon as you have 3 or more arms (it's stated under Multiweapon fighting feat). I don't typically build weapon-using synthesists so I'm a bit unfamiliar with how those rules work.

Multi-weapon fighting states it replaces Two-weapon fighting.
No where is it stated multi-weapon fighting fulfills the prerequisites for feats requiring Two-weapon fighting. This prevents creatures with multi-weapon fighting from adding additional attacks with improved twf and greater twf.
To get 6 katanas with the listed evolutions, you will need the exotic weapon proficiency. As you are using only 1 hand per weapon, letting go equals dropping your weapon. You may choose to do so as a free action. Taking exotic weapon proficiency is cheaper than martial weapon proficiency for an eidolon.
Only hands may be used for casting. Tentacles and tails do not count. There is a FAQ regarding synthesist casting without hands.
I would recommend natural weapons if your goal is a large number of attacks. If manufactured weapons are still desired, consider the Wakizashi in all hands.

I did not say otherwise. I simply pointed out Two-Weapon Fighting becomes Multiweapon fighting when you have 3 or more hands.
Personally I go for the claws route myself. Much easier, and I typically take a level of Master of Many Styles for a free style feat (dragon style ftw). It's pretty awesome imho.

Ok, thanks. I've thought about it and ill go with claws. With elemental damage and stuff I can manage, assuming all four claws hit, 8d6+24. Not nearly as high, but MUCH more easy to hit with. That leaves me with one last question: I have 3 evolution points left, what now? I was going to get flight, but than I thought about ability increase (str). Which one is best? Also, what should I do with the last one? Thanks in advance!

It uses a 33 point buy, which balances the classes better oddly enough. For 25 point but I actually recommend lowering charisma and intelligence rather than wisdom.
EDIT: It seems like seeing a claw build would help you out a bit, but I'll also add what I can. For those last 3 i would get flight and a detection ability (like scent) or the skilled evolution.
