I'm not sure if this is better put in the conversions forums or here, or maybe better yet asked at Monte Cook's boards, but I'm trying to anticipate a situation.
We have a character in our group who's using the Verrik racial levels from Arcana Evolved. His character class is sorcerer, with the celestial empyreal archetype.
Anyway, our DM's homebrew game has a taboo about casting Raise Dead (and probably the higher level better versions). Instead we use Reincarnate.
So, what happens, when a character with racial levels dies and is reincarnated as a different race? Unless the DM modifies his chart there is no chance the verrik will be reincarnated in another verrik body.
So, what happens with those racial levels?

Well, my suggestion after giving this some thought.
Lose all abilities tied to being a verrik, like enfeeblemind, contact, read minds, etc. This is actually quite a bit that I don't think the player would like losing.
Swap out the now useless bonus caster levels for sorcerer levels.
Since reincarnate says you keep your mental stats, the +3 to INT and +3 to WIS stay, even though they came from the racial levels. I'd think it would destroy the character to lose these.
Of course the character gains whatever racial abilities come with the new body, but they might not mesh well with the character, but that's what happens with random charts.
I'm probably forgetting something that might crop up down the road, but that's why getting feedback is useful.
