Do I need the AP?

I've been working on my lvl 2 PFS wizard and I'm planning for lvl 3 when I can use summon monster II. I found a critter I really want to summon and the additional resources say it's legal. My question is because it comes from a summon's list in an AP (ap29 in this case), do I have to have a copy of the AP just to use that one critter?

A GM can ask you to provide proof of ownership of the additional resource as per the Guide to Organized Play: Either the book itself or a copy (electronic or printed) of the PDF water stamped with your name. I've personally been asked to provide proof when using spells from Ultimate Magic.

You only need to have the specific volume that the summoned monster comes from, not the entire AP.

Silver Crusade 4/5

In other words, yes. In Society play, you must own the book that is the source of anything you're using for your character.

1/5

You need only scan the page OP. You should also print the list of additional resources allowed as well as the stat block of the monster in question. You must own it as others have said.

Liberty's Edge 4/5

Now for the bad news. Only clerics can use the expanded summoning lists and must worship said deity.

Liberty's Edge 4/5

Here be a link. If you get any further with it, Id like to know.
