Level 6 Ranger Feat Question

So at level 6 I take a combat feat in archery that can bypass the prerequisites if I understand correctly. Does that mean that I can get many shot at level 6 without having taken rapid shot at any point?

Correct. No need for PBS or Rapid Shot.

You should take Improved Precise Shot. It's 5 whole levels early! And you can just pick up manyshot at level 7 anyway. Why you lack point blank and rapid shot I don't know, those are pretty much a lock for an archer to take anyway.

I just started playing Pathfinder and I do have PBS I just didn't want rapid shot. I wanted to be less combat focused and more role playing. I know it is not optimal or even very good but hey I am just trying to have fun. I will look into IPBS however. =)
