Support-ish Rage Powers

Advice

Liberty's Edge

The way things are developing in one of my games, I find myself needed less and less for direct combat. In light of this, I'm planning to build my barbarian with more support in mind.

Is anyone aware of some support-themed 3rd party rage powers or maybe prestige classes a barbarian could pick up?

how about feat lines? Combat performer with dazzling display and heroic display, and for rage powers, the trip and bull rush ones.

Liberty's Edge

A feat tree like that isn't really practical right now but I'll keep it in mind. It would take me 5 levels to get Hero's Display.

I plan to get Inspire Ferocity next level which is the sort of thing I'm looking for.

Come And Get Me (otherwise known as "Come At Me Bro") is support-ish in the sense that leaving yourself completely open for attack tends to draw enemies away from the other members of the group so you can smash down the ones dumb enough to come after you.

Combine with the Antagonize Feat to make it a sure thing.

Combine combine with the Unexpected Strike Rage Power to make the first one that enters your threatened square also provoke an AoO.

A feat tree like that isn't very practical I'll admit except if you do like a one level dip into fighter, the Gladiator basically gives you two.

Liberty's Edge

Come and Get Me isn't really support.

I didn't really want to multiclass but that may be an option.

If you mean combat support I think e best way to do it is through the battlefield control RPs. The one that creates difficult terrain, or knock back, or even spell sunder, don't in and of themselves harm the enemy (well, I think knock back is tacked on to an attack) but rather can help set up your allies.

Liberty's Edge

Ground Breaker would be okay if it wasn't so bad.

Well, considering the Barbarian is about as far from a "Support" class you can get, most of the support abilities he can grab are going to be poor choices.

You could take some of the intimidate feats and rage powers that's sort of support and it fits with the flavor. Also some of them are quite good.

Liberty's Edge

Like I mentioned, Inspire Ferocity is perfect and I found a 3rd party archetype that would be great (if it were a prestige class).
