Just got back from the theater.
This didn't disappoint, was actually pretty awesome.
Simon Pegg as a perpetual adolescent, trying to relive his glory days, decked out in Sisters of Mercy gear was frickin' hilarious.
Saw it last night.
I have to agree...probably the funniest movie I have seen in years. Defintly as good as Shaun of the Dead. Maybe a little better.

So, who else noticed that
a) the plot of the entire movie was revealed in the very opening scene?
B) The name of each of the taverns was a hint to what was going to happen there?
Awesome movie, by the way. I think that Iv'e never seen such an elegant way for fighting off an alien invasion :P

A, for sure. B, some of those clues I got when watching the movie some I got later on when talking with my brother. When I'm watching Wright's movies my perception for things like hints of things yet to come rises to new level. This was my first Wright movie in theater so some things were easier to catch than others.
Like did you guys catch that..Like someone said, this was pretty funny movie. If we measure funny by how often or how hard audience/I laughed, it was funniest movie of all time. Only once before I have been in Finnish movie theater and heard so much laugh (Iron Sky if you were wondering). Pegg was hilarious and others were almost as good. King's past and reason for whole "last adventure" was really touching when it was revealed and Pegg played it perfectly. All in all really good movie that I'll enjoy watching in future.
