Well maybe it is you (I hope it is). The following order seems really, really strange to me - despite all the evidence pointing to it being my fault, I'm holding out hope it's your computer system. :/

I placed order #2551721 on Sunday - a whole bunch of Raging Swan print products (solidarity for the internet-abused and all that). And I swear I selected the print options - not the print/PDF options (I really dont want the PDFs and my downloads page is getting annoyingly crowded).

Furthermore (and this is the weird bit), I am dead sure that the "confirm my order" part showed no charge - ie that there were no PDFs included and that my products would go into my sidecart to ship with my next subscription shipment. I'm sure that if it had said "we're going to charge you $x today and some more when it ships" then I would have twigged that I was messing up.

Earlier today, all my Kickstarter PDFs showed up and I noticed the PDFs of all the Raging Swan things I'd bought are now included. However, when I check my emails and order history (the above order being split to orders 2551733 and 2551737) it shows me ordering all the print/PDF options - except for Tribes Anthology II (which I apparently ordered the PDF only - despite the print copy now being in my sidecart). I'm terribly confused by all that (although not entirely surprised - today my email decided that a good place to file deleted messages was my inbox for some reason...)

What do I want? (I hear you cry in some desperation)

Well nothing really, other than confirmation that I'm going to get all my books and (if it's possible) some investigation into what happened with hopefully a final determination that your computer is just messing with my mind and I did, in fact, order the print only options.

I dont hold out much hope though - even I am beginning to think I may have inadvertently ordered some PDFs. I just dont see how... :(

I'm fixed things up by refunding you via store credit for the bundles and Anthologies II PDF. I placed the Print only versions in your sidecart where they will use up the store credit when they ship out with your subscription order. The total amount you got back was $78.40 and the Print only versions add up to $50.96 so there will be some extra that will be applied to the other items in the subscription order.

At this point, I'm not sure where the error occurred. We didn't see anything unusual that might have caused it, but that doesn't mean something weird didn't happen.

Ok. This time it was definitely your computer.

I just placed Order # 2561349 for the new Only War sourcebook. It had nothing else in it and was to be shipped with my next subscription. When I confirmed my order, I got a confirmation of that plus all of the raging swan books again.

Sorry to be a pain, but would someone be able to look that over and see if anything untoward is happening or if its just some kind of display glitch?

So what happened is that last week I cancelled and refunded the bundles and then set you up with the print only versions. They were initially set up *within* what the system had designated as order 2561349. I moved them from that order into your sidecart. Then when you ordered the Only War book, the ordering system used the same order the books had been moved from. The order system isn't smart enough to recognize those items from last week were moved by me and when it sent the confirmation email, it saw those products had previously been on that order number and thought it should let you know they had been moved into the sidecart. So yeah, display glitch because the system doesn't realize that sometimes Customer Service sneaks into orders and shifts things around :)

Hopefully that makes sense.

next time you level up the order system you should give it a few more ranks in perception.
