I was rather run down when I posted this. I suppose I should make my pitch.
I've been doing a lot of third party writing over the past year and it has been a blast. I would like to do even more this year. I want to learn what I can from the people who have been there as well.
Also, I'd like the chance to give some stuff I've written and haven't yet published to--first and foremost--people that act as patrons of mine. I want to share the joy that is NeoExodus with people that haven't experienced it before.
I'd like to run an official game at the con where people use the iconics I wrote for the soon-to-be-released Adventure Path Iconics: Path of the Wicked to run through the first part of Knot of Thorns, Book 1 of the Way of the Wicked Adventure Path.
And I'm really looking forward to collaborating with select patrons and hammering out a really great 32 page adventure, publishing it, and sharing it with those that supported me.
Also, think on this: if 100 Paizonians contribute just one dollar apiece, then that's 200 emails I'll have to be sending out to thank them and let them know what I managed to accomplish and learn at Paizocon. Who wouldn't want to inflict that sort of pain upon me?
Finally, if you can't or won't donate, spreading the word about my fundraiser would be a help in and of itself. Thanks for your support.

You're now another 20 bucks closer. Like you, I've also done a lot of freelancing the last year and I'm going to GenCon this year for the same thing, hopefully network and meet new people (and also because I've never been to GenCon before!). Anyway, have fun at Paizocon. I'm thinking of checking it in the next couple of years.

Thanks, John! I'd like to make it to GenCon someday as well. I chose PaizoCon because it's just on the other side of the state, costs for everything are lower across the board, and it will actually give Louis Porter, JP Chapleau, and me a chance to actually talk face to face about projects for once. (Publisher, Creative Director, and Head Writer all in the same room? What a concept!) Plus, PaizoCon is, well, cozy. Smaller, less hectic, and right in the town where a lot of gaming companies make their home.

For the scheduled games I run at the con, as well as the unscheduled one for any Player level contributors, I will be utilizing Paizo's Critical Hit deck, as well as LPJ Design's Ultimate Plot Decks: Twist of Fate (written by yours truly) to enhance the game.

Target achieved! (And beyond, thanks to a recent contribution!) Another big, big thank you to my contributors for making this trip possible. With only 26 hours left, there really isn’t much time to work on a stretch goal, though if anyone is still feeling generous and donates I’ll see if I can somehow sweeten the pot with some other pdf material.
