Is a one level Alchemist dip worth the bonus strength for a Barbarian?

I highly doubt the game with go to 20th level so that's not my concern personally.

Sovereign Court

Yes but it makes it so you have to yell, "By the powers of Velveeta!" when you go into a rage for some reason.

Vivisectionist is usually the archetype I believe.

Shadow Lodge

hmm, depends on the build, depends on if you got a decent int, either way, vivisectionist
though you also want to look at what else a single level dip in alchemist would grant you, poison use, and infusions which would both make you more versatile

Sczarni

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I see it probably more often that I care to in PFS, but I'm personally more of a purist anyways.

A two level dip, with the Vistigial Arm discovery, and your Barbarian can wield a two-handed weapon and a shield.

I wanted to have a Half-Orc Bodyguard enslaved to my friend's PC. We've already set some rules on the slavery codes so he can't turn me into his maid.
The Half-Orc is somewhat of tragic character, born in Belkzen under the Brutal rule of Chief Grask Uldeth who imprisoned the man on a whim, and gave him to a rich diplomat as a token of appreciation. The half-orc was sold five times before being given the role as a guard to a lesser noble.
The character relies on his inner strife in order to massacre his enemies in hopes of being released and being able to seek revenge.
In his service to the lesser noble where he was granted mild freedom and tolerence I thought he would have experimented on ways to augment himself so he could outperform other of his kind.

Also this is not for Pathfinder Society, it's for a home game.
