In an upcoming game (tomorrow to be exact) my players are getting ambushed by a roc as they climb down a mountain. It's mostly steep paths and a few plateaus, not a lot of sheer cliffs. That having been said, I cannot seem to draw the map well to represent slopes and cliffs and still hold it to scale.
Any advice or anyone have maps for such an encounter.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with the map--the beast has 15-ft reach so they're all going to have to use ranged attacks while it grabs a couple PCs, flys off with them, and drops them several hundred feet to their inevitable demise.
They'll hit the ground like Hefty sacks filled with Campbell's Chunky Soup. Mmm, mmm, good.
