I just got off the phone with Airport Marriott reservations and they told me the $109 room block is sold out and there is a new room block for $149/night.
I went ahead and reserved the room, but the PaizoCon banner information should change to update the new block with the new rate.
Yep. I made my reservations this morning and was charged the same rate. Also if you use the website it tells you no rooms are available. I assume this means no rooms are available at the $109 price because I called the hotel and got a room for $149 per night.
I've updated the main PaizoCon page to reflect the change. Note that there are limited rooms available at the hotel available, so if you've been hesitating to make a reservation, make it soon!

The FAQ page still has the old price information. Don't want people to be confused.
The Clarion Hotel is a short distance away. It seems more like a business hotel. Just saying because its less expensive and you can get different types of rooms with differing amenities (free wi-fi, microwave, etc).

The one disappointment from last year was that the hotel rooms did not include fridge + microwave. A friend of mine even got a free room upgrade to some kind of suite, and even that didn't have a fridge.
Clarion has spacious rooms that include both, so I'm giving it a shot.
