Mostly correct.
I think it's not a full Protection from Evil, just the part about possession and mental controls, which I suppose means you're immune to that. ("While under the effects of this spell, the target is immune to any new attempts to possess or exercise mental control over the target.")
I'm honestly not 100% sure if that only works against effects from Evil creatures (as per Protection from Evil) or all possessions and mental controls (as the Wayfinder section might be read)
It does not give you the +2 AC or keeps summoned creatures from harming you.

That is corect, though the resonence effect only grants the mental protection from possession and Evil mind-affects as per Protection from Evil.
"While under the effects of this spell, the target is immune to any new attempts to possess or exercise mental control over the target. This spell does not expel a controlling life force (such as a ghost or spellcaster using magic jar), but it does prevent them from controlling the target. This second effect only functions against spells and effects created by evil creatures or objects, subject to GM discretion."

According to Seekers of Secrets, when you put an ioun stone into a wayfinder, you get the normal benefit of the stone plus the resonant power but the magical properties of the wayfinder itself are suppressed.
So, you get the sustenance and the protection from possession and mental control, keep the compass function with the bonus vs. getting lost, but you lose the light spell.
